赫苏斯·拉斐尔·索托 - 艺术家 - GALERÍA RGR

(1923年，委内瑞拉——2005年，法国）

赫苏斯·拉斐尔·索托是动力艺术的代表人物之一，曾于1955年参与法国巴黎丹尼斯·勒内画廊(Galerie Denise René)举办的一场名为"Le movement”的群展，此次群展也为动力艺术和欧普艺术奠定了基础。在赫苏斯·索托的整个职业生涯中，他以研究艺术物体的时空统一性为基础，重新定义艺术在社会中的不同表达性。

在加拉加斯学习艺术后，赫苏斯·索托于1950年移居巴黎，并加入了当地委内瑞拉艺术家组织Dissidents，一个致力于推动委内瑞拉艺术革新的沙龙。尽管赫苏斯常被大众与欧普艺术一并讨论，但赫苏斯的作品绝不止于此；其更多是研究运动及其形式的非物质化，从而产生的动态结构让观众也参与到作品中来，作品与观众的互动至关重要。

1958年，赫苏斯·索托开始创作一组系列作品《Vibraciones》，由黑白条纹构图，通过重叠而让人以为作品发生振动和变化。索托实现了艺术和观赏者的自由，无论年龄或背景，不再局限于视觉，所有观赏者都可以释放出各自的情绪，延伸了其对作品的体验。
