For ZsONAMACO Art Week, at Galeria RGR we present the exhibition Sometimes Things Work for the Wrong Reasons, of the artist Dario Escobar with the curatorship of Daniel Garza-Usabiaga. The display explores the geometric abstraction of the second half of twentieth century using as its starting point the designs in the boxes of the “redilas” trucks based on diagonals and horizontal lines. Through his series Geometric Constructions and Modular Constructions, the artist questions the types of solutions that are recognized or have been institutionally legitimized as valid forms of geometric art.
